Rob started training in the UFAF system. From there he went to be trained in Tae Kwon Do in 1987. In 1988 he joined the Southern Tang Soo Do Association and earned Shodan in Tang Soo Do in 1991. He earned the honor to compete on special tournament teams and worked in the self-defense training of local law enforcement and across. In 1995, he started in kickboxing under Sensei Mike Carlson.
From there he trained with Ken Hudson in the Renraku-Do system and received a 2nd degree black belt. He is now back to teaching, and as of 2006 starting promoting state and regional full contact kickboxing fights. |
