I started my training  in 1974 in Kempo Karate and received my first shodan  in 1979, as an Army and Air Force officer I moved often and switched to Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido since they were often found at different army bases.   I have been actively teaching since 1984 and was inducted into the International Hall of Fame as Hapkido Instructor of the year (1997).   I have served as the International Tae Kwon Do Jidokwan Federation and International Combat Hapkido Federation (ICHF) director in Germany from 93-96 and ICHF Alabama State Director from 2000-2003.  I am currently a V.P. of the ICHF.    After my move to Colorado I began formal study of Aikido and would like to teach it on my retirement from the USAF.  I am a combat veteran and currently a Lt. Colonel and pilot in the USAF.  I plan to retire around 2006 with a total of 25 years of service.
