Requirements:

 

1.         Be an active member of a P.C.M.A. registered club

2.         Be at least 14 years of age

3.         Minimum Time in Grade: 32 hours of instruction, 2 months, enter one tournament.

4.         Know following information:

 a.  Upon who’s art is Yudo founded?  “Dr. Jigoro Kano”

 b.  What are the names of your Yudo Organizations in the U.S.

      “P.C.M.A., MAUSA, ROKYA, Korean Sim Mu Do Association

 c.  When was Yudo re-introduced to Korea?  “around 1910”

 d.  What is the name of the Shihan in P.C.M.A.?  “Jack Allbritten”

 

5.         Must know the following vocabulary:  

 

   Must demonstrate the following techniques:

 

 a.  First 5 throws of the Gokyo no waza (5 throws)

     De Ashi Barai     Hiza Guruma     Sasae TsuriKomi Ashi      Uki Goshi     O Soto Gari

 

 b.  Katame Waza:   Kesa Gatame

 c.  Ukemi waza :     Zempo Keiken Ukemi (plus forward rolling ukemi) (Go Tate)
