Requirements:  Rokkyu-(Green) Senior Rank

 

1.         Be an active member of a P.C.M.A. registered club and at least 14 years of age.

2.         Minimum time in grade:  40 hours of instruction since last promotion (2.5 months) Win (          ) matches.

3.         Know the following information:

  a. Name the three divisions of Katame Waza in Japanese and English

      Osae Komi Waza: immobilitzation techniques              Shime Waza: Choking Techniques

      Kansetsu Waza: Joint locking techniques

  b. What are the two goals of the P.C.M.A. Yudo division?

      The restoration and teaching of the art of  “Total Kodokan Judo”

      The promotion of a “Standardized” system of teaching Yudo

  c. Name the five members of the P.C.M.A. board of directors:

Shihan Jack Allbritten, Professor Larry Brooks, Hanshi Greg Allbritten, Hanshi Jeff Allbritten.

  a. Third five throws of the Gokyo no waza (15 throws)

      Koshi Guruma, Tsuri Komi Goshi, Okuri Ashi Barai, Tai Otoshi, Harai Goshi.

  b. Katame waza:  tate shiho gatame

  c. Ukemi waza:    Uni  Otoshi Ukemi

 

7.  PLUS ALL PREVIOUS REQUIREMENTS
