Requirements:   Nikyu- (brown belt)  Senior Rank

 

1.         Be an active member of a PCMA registered club /  at least 16 years of age.

2.         Minimum time in grade:  80 hours of instruction since last promotion  (5 months) (      ) competition points

3.          Must demonstrate the following techniques:

  a. Seventh five throws of the Gokyo no waza ( 35 throws )

      Soto Makikomi

      Uki Otoshi

      O Soto Guruma

      Uki Waza

      Yoko Wakare

 

   b.  Katame waza

     i.  Juji jime

         1. Kata Juji Jime

         2. Gyaku juji Gatame

         3.Nami Jujit Gatame

 

      ii.  Okuri eri jime

     iii.  Sode Guruma

     iv.  Do jime

      v.  Tsukkomi jime

     vi.  Ude Garami (5 variations)

    vii.  Waki gatame
